Saddle installs like stock with two bolts into stock locations on your chassis. Mounting hardware is included and preinstalled on saddle.

We include a set of spacers and washers to use in place of the stock spacers. You will reuse the OEM rubber washer and bolts.

Call me crazy, but the KLR is way more fun than a 40hp motorcycle has a right to be… it just is. Corbin’s Dual Platform seat for the venerable KLR takes your bike to the next level by providing a comfortable perch so you can spend more time on the bike while it also allows for better ground reach.

Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a slim profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach. As you can see, the Dual Platform saddle provides seating much lower than the stock unit.

This model was originally developed with a ton of great feedback from our pals at Happy-Trail.com and has been a staple of KLR riders now for decades (literally). The stepped, dual platform design allowed us to really lower the front position of the saddle. This equates to better ground reach and, naturally, a lower center of gravity. A nice side effect of the stepped seating is that you get a nice bit of back support out of it too.

Notice how we’ve taken this shape and sculpted it to conform to the shape of your body. This provides more square inches of body contact and eliminates the pressure points where the leg bones meet the butt bone. Although it takes a bit to really break in a Corbin saddle (1,500 miles), you will notice this improvement right away.

Passenger seating area is designed with a neutralized platform to curb sliding forward in the saddle. Dished shaping provides an excellent contact patch while maintaining a clean look.

Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank and sides… this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin’s ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal. We’ve made this seat design as low as possible without impacting ride comfort.

For an added luxurious touch, this model is available with the option of electric seat heaters… That’s a first for the KLR! With the flip of a conveniently located switch built into the left side of the saddle, both the rider and passenger seating platforms will heat up and maintain temperature automatically. Simple to install with just a pigtail wiring to your bike’s fusebox. All other components are built into the saddle and come preinstalled.

On top, we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. The design shown above includes Black Carbon-Fiber leather seating with Matte Black vinyl contrasting sides and a tasteful black stitch pattern. A wide variety of material and color options are available to suit your taste.

We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.

Saddle installs much like your stock seat and bolts directly to the Kawasaki chassis. We supply shorter spacers to use with your stock bolts when installing the Corbin saddle.
